Let it be known I am learning these new things right along with you. I have been writing what I hear and I too must hear what I write. God is no respecter of persons. I am carnal minded just like everyone else even after being baptized and having hands laid on me to receive the Holy Spirit, twice. Carnal means flesh and you and I always will be until our resurrection to eternal life. I too must bring every thought into captivity.
*2 Cor 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
The Holy Spirit is not a person, if it were a person it would be greater than Christ (Matt 12:31-32). The Holy Spirit is an unseen power (John 3:8) that can live in and through you if you do not quench it. It must be exercised daily (Matt 22:37), (1 Thes 5:17).
*2 Tim 1:7, 10 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind 10. But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
The Holy Spirit is the power of love (God) and peace and is the sound mind behind the teaching of this Gospel of immortality for all being brought again to light at the heel of time by the power of love.
How does this power of love and peace get quenched? (1 Thes 5:19).
*Pro 3:5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
*Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
*Rom 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
*Rom 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
*Rom 7:24-25O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Your carnal mind of hate and selfishness is what must be overcome and replaced with every word of God which is every word of love in the Bible.
*Phil 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus

What is the Holy Spirit of God?

If you diligently seek him (love) with your whole heart, soul, and mind you will find him.

The Holy Spirit is the “substance” of Faith, the unseen power of love everlasting.

How bad do you want to live inside the walls of God’s coming government city Rev 21? This city is called the kingdom of heaven because this city comes down to the new earth from heaven (Rev 21:2), (Matt 5:10, 5:20), (Matt 18:3-4), (Matt 25:1).
*Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
Only those who diligently seek the breadth, and length, and depth, and height of his Holy Spirit of love will be chosen to live inside the walls of his Holy city, all the rest of the children will live outside the walls for eternity. Much is required to whom much is given.
*Eph 3:17-19 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
*Rev 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
The word abomination is Strong’s # 946 and means Idolatry
*Ex 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me
Satan has deceived the whole world into idolatry (Rev 12:9) all have been worshiping his teachings of death and murder and no one has realized it until the heel of time when this lone woman (Rev 12) exposes his lies by the word of God that she delivers to the world at the heel of time by the promise of God to Eve (Gen 3:15).
*2 Cor 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
All have taught and believed his lies of death and murder.
*Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
When most everyone in the earth believes they have been deceived by the devil and turn to love. God will cast Satan to the earth because then is come true salvation and strength (Rev 12:11).
This is the time of the latter rain.
*James 5:7-8 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
