Days of Unleavened Bread

*Lev 23:6-8 “And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye MUST eat unleavened bread. In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein. But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.”

God's word is the fire Jer 23:29. Our offering is reading the word of God everyday for seven days Rom 10:17.

*Exodus 12:17 “And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.

Present-

Those keeping this feast must eat unleavened bread for seven days.
Prior to the day of Passover they clear all crumbs of leavening from their homes. They do no servile work on the first day of unleavened bread and they do no servile work on the seventh day of unleavened bread. These two days are Holy days.
The day of Passover is sometimes called the first day because it is the preparation day, work may be done on this day. After the Passover then the feast of unleavened bread begins for seven days.
*Numbers 28:16-17 “And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the passover of the LORD. And in the fifteenth day of this month is the feast: seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten”.
*Luke 22:1 “Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover”.
*Matthew 26:17 Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?
*Mark 14:12 And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?
*Luke 2:41-42 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.
*Luke 22:7 Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.

This Holy Day physically pictures our commitment to humble our carnal mind by obeying the word of God. Only by obedience Matt 4:4 will God grant true repentance. True repentance opens your carnal mind to let his in. Only his mind can overcome our spirit of hate against God’s children learning the knowledge of good and evil. If you profess to know God while hating any child of God you are a hypocrite 1 John 3:15.
*Luke 12:1 “In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy”.
*Matt 16:6 “Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees”.
*Matt 16:12 “Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees”.
*1 Cor 5:6-8 “Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.”

*Gal 5:9 “A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump”.

Future-
Everyone during the millennium will keep God’s Holy days. All will understand the importance of obedience that enables the leaven of their carnal mind against God's children to be removed.

*Rev 21:2-6 "And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely".
